I launched a new music teachers directory website for the WA Music Teachers Association in December 2023, and have had very positive feedback from current WAMTA members as well as past members who have phoned me, very pleasantly surprised to find WAMTA members regularly appearing high up in search results.
I conducted a few more searches today to see where WAMTA teachers were appearing in the search results, and it’s right at the top. For example:
Some teachers have let me know that the new directory has resulted in them receiving enquiries from new students, when they’d not received them before, so they are thrilled! A new WAMTA member received an enquiry within days of his new listing going live.
It’s really important to use an expert who understands search engine optimisation if you want a website that actually brings results.
