Today saw the culmination of months of intense work, first with organising a music competition with over 300 entrants, finishing today with a winners concert and award ceremony for 47 winners.
With this year being the 100th year of the WAMTA Recital & Concerto Competition, I redesigned the website and redid all the graphic design of the programmes and certificates.
I organised sponsorship, handled all the registrations, completed the scheduling, put together the program and arranged its printing, organised the winners concert and award ceremony.
I introduced trophies last year and added 100th anniversary logos to them this year – I think we hit the mark in making it extra special this year! It’s exhausting work and stressful trying to pull everything together in time, but the joy in the room today was worth it.
