Hi! I'm Simone Collins. I've spent many years training people around the world in a wide range of areas. Now I'm bringing my knowledge here, for you.
I have been a sought-after trainer and speaker since the early 2000s, in areas ranging from leadership development, community building, membership engagement, social media and marketing, health and more. I am in the process of centralising resources and re-purposing years of training materials into articles and courses here on this website, so that you can access my years of experience and knowledge wherever you are.
If you're building up your profile, your business or organisation, I'm your gal.
Everything I've trained on has been tried and tested personally, through the various organisations I've played a leadership role in, the businesses I have successfully run and through my own personal growth and development.

So one of the first tasks I’ve undertaken is to build a new website for the WAPPC at wappc.com.au. Previously, the information…

In early 2019 I ran two workshops on Search Engine Optimization for Music Teachers. Interestingly, the majority of attendees didn’t even have a website! So the next workshop I will offer in this space will be about getting started with an online presence…

Social media is very visual these days, with Facebook, Twitter and Google+ all tweaking their layouts to give a more visually rich experience, coupled with the rise of image-focused sites such as Instagram and Pinterest, to name a few. Selecting good, quality images to post on these channels can be…

Social media has matured substantially over the past 14 years, with most users now accepting, and being more likely to trust, social networking as an effective way to communicate. This has led to it becoming easier to use social media to assist with fundraising efforts, both for well planned projects…

Now that the preparations for the two break out sessions I will be presenting in at the 2014 RI Convention in Sydney have been completed, I’ve finally been able to turn my attention back to reinstating the information on this website! I have now put together a CV for my…

So right now there’s not a lot to see here, after I deleted simone.carotcollins.com before first transferring the very limited information that was actually hosted on there (primarily my Rotary resume). Oops. In time I will endeavour to rebuild my 15 odd years of my Rotary resume and links to…

By examining what your goals are with your communications, you can best determine who your audience is, and what the best way of communicating with them is. It documents which channels will be used and who is responsible for…
